OOOOHHH I am so excited there were some great coupons in this Sunday's paper!!
i would like to thank all the greedy people who cleared off the shelves so that no one else could enjoy the sale. Selfish!
More than likely, it was many, many shoppers with 5 of each coupon buying 5 of everything. There are a TON of coupon shoppers in Utah, and with each person buying a few, shelves get cleared.
I went and bought 5 Honey Bunches of Oats w/ NO Catalina. Any ideas what I can do to get that $5 ONYO??
I have to agree with duchess. I was at Smiths yesturday and when you see people with 3 cartfulls of the free and cheap stuff as well as people practially racing down the isles before other couponers would get to that area...that is selfish. I was shocked...that's a few people ruining it for everyone else.
It's disappointing that Smith's is out of everything that is free or really cheap and they are not getting another shipment to restock those items. If you do double coupons, prepare for it so there is enough for everyone!
I also struggle with the fact that people get more than they can use or need. I think some of these couponers could open their own grocery stores. It is sad that people are that selfish to not let others have the great deals. My sister delivers newspapers and there are people who get 9!! sunday papers...9!?!?!?
I went on Monday morning when the Smith's in my town opened, and found a lot of the "feebies" were cleared out already. My list was small, and I only planned to take home the things my family uses. Hopefully the stuff people buy will actually get used and not expire on their shelves.
bigruffhouse I do not think that Smith's has an employee who looks at all the coupons from the last 10 weeks to see what items they need to stock up on. They probobly decided to do the double coupon thing right after the AFS announcment buying Albies. So just be gratfull they did the sale, comments like yours does not make them want to do them again.
