I've also had the pleasure of expanding my recipe base and exploring fruits and veggies I would have never bought or thought of otherwise. Half the fun is not knowing what you are going to get and then having to hit the internet to figure out what the heck to do with persimmons or find a good salsa verde recipe for tomatillos.<br /><br />You do get some regulars like lettuce and bananas. Onions and potatoes are also quite common but lots of variation with whatever else is in the basket!<br />BB also offers "add-ons" (for additional fee) such as bread or depending on season, cases of peaches, apples, corn, etc. They occassionaly have "packs" such as a "guacamole/salsa" pack w/ tomatoes, peppers, onions and avocados, or an "asian" pack w/ ginger, garlic, bok choy, cabbage, etc. It is fun to add these on for a twist on your weekly cooking.Frenzied Family Fourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09698111728146450543noreply@blogger.com
