Thanks, this is great! I think I'm finally going to convert to doing the coupon binder.

Where's the best place to get the plastic baseball card holders? What's a good price for them?

Wipersnaz:

I've found them most cheaply at Wal-Mart. I've had to ask where they were at times, and ultimately I find them either in the stationary section or in the stands next to the checkout registers.

I think that a package is about 3.50.

HTH!

I just watched the video. Thank you. I had gathered some supplies ahead of time that I just had around. Now I think I will look for a zippered binder instead of the one I had.

I'm new, but I have been looking around the site. I have not seen the price book that was in the first section. Is this available or is it just one you put together over time? If available can you provide a link?

Heidi said...

@rubyhammer: Absolutely! You can find the most recent edition of the price book here:
http://www.utahshoppingsecrets.com/2008/05/pyp-price-book-25.html

And you can find a video on how to use it here:

HTH, and let me know if you have any more questions!

Heidi,

I remember seeing someone selling pre-made coupon binders on the PYP website. Can you direct me to that post? Do you know if they have any left?

Thanks!

Where can I find the list at the front of your binder on PYP?

Blake and Ally:

You can download it right here:

I really like the binder that you have. I have looked around, and can't find one I like with the qualities of yours. Can you tell me what brand your is? Thanks.

Heidi said...

@Kristi:

It's a Pen-Tab Pro Platinum, which I bought several years ago at Wal-Mart. I've seen identical ones during Back-to-School times, which are starting very soon (ouch), so you should be able to grab one.

Okay, WHERE do you get all your coupons? Like, what are your top three sources for finding all these awesome deals so you can start stacking them with store sales, etc.?

Heidi said...

@Beth: In order to frequency with which I use coupons from that source:

1. Newspapers, which I get from multiple Sunday subscriptions and from friends and relatives.
2. Mailing lists. I'll put together a post on places to sign up for coupon mailing lists.
3. Printable coupons. You can find a list of many of the currently available printable coupons as a sticky note at the top of the printable coupons section here: http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Once you load the post, you can just perform a ctrl+F for any product you're interested in and see where and if it's available.

Just started couponing. I feel a little overwhelmed. But your explanation was a great help.

Thanks for the video. I am planning to switch to a binder from my box so this was really helpful!

Does each pocket contain coupons for the exact same coupon? So if I had three different coupons for Oral B toothbrushes they would go in the same pocket and Reach would go in a different pocket? Or would you put them both together?

Heidi said...

Nicki: I'd put the Oral B in one pocket and the Reach in another.
